I know it is not necessary to give but just to show the teachers we are grateful to their hard work.

School holidays is the best time. No rushing at all. Can sleep late and wake up late. I can even watch my favorite TV programme, CSI. But soon all the leisure and relaxing time will be back to RUSHING until the next school holidays

Speaking of school, I better check if Josh has finished his homework or not. Do not want him to blame me for being punish by the teacher right? Ok..where’s the blue book…….??!!!!

I tried again. Spotted some of his classmates and asked if they saw Josh anywhere but none of them see him. I started to think the worst already but quickly erase that from my mind. I spotted his class teacher and went to her. I asked her if Josh was in the class that day or anything happen. She confirmed yes and just a while ago she saw him. Both of us went for a search but fail to locate him. Damn on that day too, I didn’t bring my hp. I left it inside the car. I walked back which take me 5 minutes walk and the moment my buddy saw me, she knew something is not right. I almost to tears already and can’t utter any words to her. Took my hp and called hubby. I badly need him that time. On my way back to the school, my instinct was telling me to search at the playground outside the school but then I thought Josh will never go there because it is so far from the school.

This time I searched from class to class, toilets and even their lab. Still no sign of him. I can’t stop praying that he’s ok and I will find him soon. I went to the teacher room and look for his class teacher and asked her if she has one of the mommy’s hp no @ Yasmeen mommy. Why I think of her was that morning Josh says he wants to follow Yasmeen home. The teacher manage to talk to Yasmeen mommy and I am so glad Yasmeen was there and informed her teacher Josh was at the playground. When I heard that, I’m so happy but worried in the same time. Hopefully he’s still there. We went there and sure enough, Josh was with a few of his seniors. I AM SO HAPPY AND GLAD to see him there. No anger, only relief but I have to show him that mommy angry face. The teacher scolded them and keep on telling me that students not suppose to be there. Josh was so scared that he rushed to my side and hold me.

I told him that what he did was wrong. He innocently says “I’m sorry mommy” and hold on to me like never want to let me go. I thank God for Josh is safe and I thank the teacher for helping me indirectly find Josh. Just to let Josh know that what he did was wrong, I punished him. No computer. He was so sad because every Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the days he can play but not yesterday. You say I’m mean? I want him to remember that what he did was wrong and teach him some lesson that he must not follow his friends when he knows he suppose to wait for us in front of the school.

Darling, if you happen to read this blog one day, I hope you understand why mommy punished you. I hope non of you mommies out there will experience what I did yesterday.

Then comes to the part of discipline. If your hair is long, you have to tie it. Since I’m a lazy person, I make sure my hair is short. Boyish style. Your belt must wear properly. Socks must above knee. Your fingers nail must be trimmed! Arrgg I hate that part because I like to grow my fingers nail

Then every time when there’s replacement teacher, we were asked to sing. Gosh! Sing in front and most of my friends love it. Not me because I can’t sing hahaha. What I do? Sleep or washroom passing time

Hmmn what else? Let me refresh my memories first..I think there are more but those memories are buried deep inside..I can’t hardly dig it out. How about you? What are your best memories or worst memories during school days?

School days was the best. No worries at all, just follow the flows. Go to school, back home do homework, play, eat and sleep. Man, life was so wonderful. But when I was a student, I don’t appreciate it at all. All I want was to complete my study and get a job. Now, how I wish I can turn back clock and enjoy that moments again.

Maybe I should seriously consider to further my study again. Something new and adventures especially now there are plenty of online university that I can enroll. I think it is a good idea as I do not need to be apart from my family especially my children. I can do it online and just the other day, I received a brochure regarding online business degree I better check it out.

Our daily routine have to change. The kids can’t watch any program on TV after 8.30pm and that includes me. They, especially Josh, have to be on bed by 9pm the latest because he needs to wake up at 5.40am every morning. I pity Josh. He looks so tired but he’s happy and love every moment of his school days. Well, that’s what he told me and I’m glad

And one thing I don’t understand, why do primary 1 student need to bring so many books. One subject needs like 3 to 4 books and in a day they have like 6 to seven subject. Man, I tell you, their bags is so heavy that if I were put into that situation everyday, I won’t be happy. Can you imagine that?

But I do not want to blame the school. This is part of their growing process. Josh needs to be taught that life is tough and he needs to experience it if he wants to survive and I’m glad, he’s not complaining at all about his heavy bag or the tons of homework he need to do (for now).

“Mommy, Josh went to big school (that’s how he describe primary school) just now and it is so pretty. The school has garden, army (huh? I blur for a while), library, video room (huh? does he mean visual room?), swimming pool (huh? he must meant the pond right?) and got canteen.  I like the big school and lau se (teacher) give me money to buy food. I buy nuggets!”

Me: Woww…you like the school? That school for kor kor, like you. Next year you also going to big school.

Josh: NO!!! Big school is for 7 years old, I’m still 6 years.

Me: I know, next year you will be 7 years, so you are going to big school already.

Josh: NO!!! I’m still 6 years old.

I didn’t argue with him but I hope he will love his new school though but speaking of school, I have to call the school when do we know whether Josh have a place there or not. Sigh. Bukan senang pulak jadi ibubapa ni tau…patutlah orang tua selalu pening, pening fikir all these things lah.

So that afternoon, took him from school and asked him how was the photo session. He says ok. Everyone was asked to take photo. One by one he says. So I asked him if he give his best smile to the photographer and guess what he answer me?

“I’m always cute mommy, no need to smile also cute.”

Ini lah anak bertuah yang menjawab mamanya tu.
