Category: Quality time

This is the hubby talking here. I have to say, do not disturb her now if you want her to be happy. She is currently busy clearing clutters everywhere, be it at home or in the office. Just sms, YM will do. If no response, just wait. LOL~!

The only free time, and even that is not totally free is when we have to stop, drop everything, and eat with the children on dinner time. For the whole 2 days she took leave, she already busy sweeping, vacuuming, moving things upstairs all by herself. While of course I was put in charge downstairs of our house. Yes, the grass and everything downstairs, toys, laundry. And even that she helped me to finish. Kesian her.

Family dinner at Tanjung Aru Plaza Stalls

To cut thing short, I decided to bring them out, along with the kids’ nanny, our lovely auntie and her son to the new food court, or food stalls just beside the Tg Aru Plaza. Our first time there and the first impression … it was really a good place to hang out. To eat I mean. No alcohol though. All muslims stalls but quite nice environment to eat our dinner there.

Last Christmas, hubby and me decided to take a longer break so that we can spend more time with the children. No regret finishing all my leaves as I can see from my children faces that they are happy during those days.

It is even great the twins become attached to their papa especially Presley who all this while only stick to me. He even wants his papa to put him to sleep and the greatest of all, the twins finally know how to call “Papa!”. Hubby so happy. Every time hubby out of their sight, the twins will call “Papa?” until they see him. Great right?

Josh? Surprisingly, he become so sticky to me. He wants me to carry him, hug him, sleep with him etc etc whereby normally he wants his papa to do that to him. But I’m glad coz finally he wants me again :D

I shouldn’t be updating my blog now since my work really needs my attention but I can’t think straight now especially after the incident yesterday.

An innocent questions ( or maybe not) were asked yesterday to me by somebody.

Questions:

  1. Do you love being a wife?
  2. Do you love being a mother?
  3. Do you love your children?

I answered confidently YES to all questions coz I do. Then that somebody said ” then what are you doing here? You claim you love being a wife, a mother and your children, yet you are spending more time working than at home. Don’t you think you should be at home?”

I am still in the mood of “tired” but I just need to blog about this in case I forgotten about it, which of course, I do not wish to forget.  I wanna cherish every moments I have with my children and last night was one of it.

We took my aunt aka the nanny out last night and the kids too. I tell you, so nice the feeling seeing the children smiling happily especially the twins. They can’t stop smiling! I guess it is because we seldom bring the twins out with us :( Tidak sengaja lah…can’t take them out without anyone accompanying us, that’s why lah..

We had KFC for dinner as it is the fastest, not too crowded and most of all, Josh love it! After dinner, we went to buy some stuff for the house. If not mistaken, we were just inside the Supermarket less than 5 minutes when suddenly..

“Papa, papa, papa…my Josh want berak!”

We all “Huh?”

Oh yes, we need a very long long holiday from all the work, the office stress and if I have to mention, from our messy home now. Yes, I need it, hubby need it and I am sure the kids also need it.

Sometimes, even though we always say home is the place for us to be. Well, that is true for sure. However, staying in the same place all the time can be rather boring and I must say stressful. There, the word “stress” again. I wanna go far far away from home. I want to see the world. Well, just half of it for now, please. LOL. If I can just pack everything, tell hubby to just leave his never ending work, tell Josh we are going far away land and that we are going by airplane and just lift up the twins and go, wouldn’t it be nice.

My first thought would be somewhere at Fiji. Try the Fiji Hotels. Especially the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa. I just love going to resort. Especially the one caters for kids too.

Hubby: Dear, you sure you do not want any more children?

Mommy: Hah? Don’t tell me you still want?

Hubby: You don’t want girl? Girl can help you around the house.

Mommy: Of course I want but I think 3 is enough lah dear..if we try next time and boy again, how? Enough lah ok?

Hubby:Ok…but having a girl around sure fun dear.

Mommy: I know but I don’t think I can cope anymore dear.

This conversation happened few days back and this is not the only conversation I ever had with hubby regarding the matter but when I was pregnant with my twins previously, he has assured me that will be the last pregnancy for me and we both agree on it.

But being pregnant is not the issue here. I just wanna make a point here that NOT having a girl is not that bad. I’m happy with my three lovely boys. It doesn’t mean that boy will not know how to do house chores as they can be trained and I believe training them in their early age is better than later.

A friend asked me this question while having lunch yesterday.

Friend: With the twins around, taking most of your time at home, how do you handle Josh?

Mommy: What you mean?

Friend: Do you able to spend time with Josh?Play with him? Do things with him like you used to do?

Mommy: Sure, why not. I still able to play and do things with him.

Hmm maybe my friend thought that I won’t be able to spend time with Josh anymore with the twins around. Yes, I can’t deny, my twins monopoly my time but only until they are asleep. After that, I’ll be free to do what ever I wanted to.

Of course, most of the time, hubby is the one who entertain Josh’s needs. I only come into the picture when my twins fast asleep that is 9pm onwards. So my dear friend, if you happen to read this, don’t worry, I won’t neglect Josh. I will find a time for him no matter what. Thanks for your concern :)
