Are you a collector?

Do any of you loves to collect things such as stamp, post cards, paper bags, coins, posters just to name a few. Do you? My MD is a collector of stamps. His collections has taken half of his house space (according to his wife) hahaha. And I just got to know, he collects coins too. I can’t imagine where he is going to keep all these coins this time and since I haven’t bought my boss anything yet, maybe it is a good idea for me to check out morgan silver dollars for sale, who knows right? Again guys, let’s start shopping

Sometimes I wish I am a reporter (envy seeing my colleague having flexible working hours) instead of doing what I am doing now. They can come in late, go at whatever time they wanted and have the opportunity to meet a lot of people. Interacting with all levels of people, from millionaire to poor people, businessman, politician and so on. And once they are done with their assign coverage, they can go home for the day. Oh how I envy them. Hahaha envy them because of their working hours actually. When it comes to their writing stories/reports, I do not envy at all. I know it is not easy to write especially when you can’t get the right words to describe the real situation. Sometimes I hear them screaming and some just bang the table. Ouchhh! I do not want to be like that. I rather sits here from 9 to 5 without worrying how to write an article about equestrian helmets and had a bad day because you can’t deliver it by 5pm to your editor. So the conclusion, I LOVE MY JOB

Technology for lazy people.

I am getting lazy and bored doing the same routine everyday. I wish I can have some technology that helps with it where I just need to scan it and it will automatically do the reports without me typing all the inputs just like a barcode scanner. Scan it and all the details will come out on your screen in less than a minute. Is there such technology available for office use? I love to get my hands into it

Coffee talks.

While having coffee this morning with my colleagues, don’t know how we end up talking about babies. Oh yes, now I remember how. Don’t know if it is true or not, but my colleagues says it happen to her relatives sometimes last year. The lady give birth to a baby girl (in general hospital) but the mother was not healthy enough to be discharged early. So they there about a week or so. Everything was alright until months later. They notice the baby didn’t follow any of the parents look or any of their relatives. Then the doubt come. Was they given a wrong baby? Did the hospital make such mistake? The family was in dilemma and was thinking of seeking a dna experts just to be sure.

To cut the story short, the family didn’t pursue their intention as the result might not as expected and breaks their heart. As far as they concern, the baby is theirs and is there to stay for them to love and cherish. The look doesn’t matter for whatever happen, it happen for a reason. I am so touch! but deep down inside, I wonder if there is any possibility of this mistake happen…

Why it is always when you are in hurry, there is always obstacle? If you are trying to get somewhere in a hurry, you always meet some slow driver who makes your blood vessel boil. Then when you reached that place, either the lift are out of service or it takes ages to come down. Then you are finally there, but the person you supposed to see just step out. Arrrgggh!!!!!

Then you waited and waited and finally she’s back. Done the interview and so on and finally you want to take a few picture of her and the products but your camera won’t start. Your nikon camera batteries are out. ARRRGGGGGH. All the troubles and waiting are useless, don’t you think so?

Everyday when I woke up in the morning, I had this feeling “today is the day that I will be free” and with that spirits and positive thinking, I go through the days with something to look forward to

Then just the other day we were talking about the possibilities of working from home using megameeting.com web conferencing and the more we talked about it, the more we hook into the idea. But the only problem now is, how to convince the big bosses to invest in it. Idea, idea please come to me so that we can make a good proposal on this.

If I can make a decision on what to install and buy in the office, I will definitely install a dehumidifier inside our office. Reason? Too many smokers and most of them smoke without thinking about others. I don’t know whether they just could not be bother or they do not know how to read a “NO SMOKING” sign. It is so frustrating. Complaint also no use as the bosses also smoke. How to make them stop? You hint also no use, they just laugh at you. Sigh….smoking is bad to our health and I hope they will realize about this soon….

With modern technology such internet and conference calling, soon we all do not need to be in the office physically. We all can work from home and that will be GOOD news to me. I will be able to spend more time with the kids and in the same time save some money on the baby sitting fee. Not only that, I can work while watching TV, how about that hahahahahaha. And I’m sure some of you might have started working from home and enjoying it very much. As for me, I doubt it will happen unless I decide to quit my job and do something else online.
