Yup, that’s me, the proud mommy
I am really proud of my son, Josh. I am smiling from ear to ear at the moment and even as I was typing this post, hihihi, my colleague who passes by my office will open the door and asked me if I am ok. At first, I am surprised when that question asked but after a few of them stop and asked, then I realized that I was smiling sendiri (can u imagine that?)
Since I am so proud now (minta puji for you maybe, or whatever you call it, it’s ok, I don’t mind coz I am just so proud that it doesn’t bother me at all) I still want to share it with the whole world
When I fetched Josh from school yesterday, his teacher asked me to wait for a while as Josh teacher wants to see me. In my mind ” what did you do this time son?” but I didn’t say it out to Josh. I stand there smiling and hoping to hear the worst. A few minutes later, his teacher came with a newspaper in her hand. I thought ” Oh no!!! Josh must have tear their newspaper…matilah, matilah” with me putting my best smile.
“Mommy Josh, do you want this newspaper? Look…Josh was in the newspaper..remember their night? Josh teacher asked me. I was blur blur didn’t get it at first until I focus myself looking at newspaper she hold.
“Oh!! It came out? Oh my…it is in Chinese.” laughing.
“Do you want to keep it?” she asked.
“Oh please. I love too. You mean, you are giving me this?” I asked in puzzle.
“Of course. I save this for you..take it.” and of course gladly and happily I took the newspaper and thank the teacher. I walked away with Josh smiling. I can’t wait to tell hubby about this.
“Dear…look what Josh Lau Se give me?” the moment I opened our car door.
“Josh was in the paper..bla bla bla bla…” I talked non stop. From school to my nanny house then to lunch then to my office. Non stop! Hahahahaha…it is not everyday my son masuk news ok. I am so proud but most of all I thank the teacher who thought of me and give me priority of having that part of news when she can give it to other parent. Thank you Lau Se….
Even though it is in Chinese, I treasure it
and tell me, who will not right?

This is from local newspaper, Asia Times.
